We established "The Shakuhachi 5" in the hope of expressing shakuhachi music of various genres, particularly contemporary music. This is the 1st concert for us.
 The commissioned Mr. Dai FUJIKURA's work have been scheduled to be played in Tokyo as the world premiere, in New York in 2021 (US Premiere), and in The International Shakuhachi Festival Prague in September 2021 (European Premiere).
